Privacy Policy
Nǐ Hǎo VVIP · Effective October 13, 2026
This policy explains how Philippe Chow (10E52 LLC, "we") handles personal information in the Nǐ Hǎo VVIP member app and the member portal at vvip.philippechow.com. The app is published on the Apple App Store by 10E52 LLC and on Google Play by its parent company, Hospitality GS LLC; both follow this policy. Membership is by invitation only.
Information we collect
- Membership details: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, member ID, membership type and your choice of how to pay.
- Dining activity: your visits, checks, receipts, meal credit, statements and payments, recorded by our restaurant point-of-sale system.
- Payment card: when you add a card, the card number goes directly to our payment processor, Stripe. We keep only the card brand, last four digits and expiry. We never store full card or bank account numbers.
- Sign-in: your email, password and one-time codes are handled by Microsoft, our sign-in provider. If you turn on text-message codes, we keep the mobile number you choose.
- Requests you send us: reservation requests and messages to the membership team.
- Dining preferences, if you choose to add them: for example your preferred location and table, favorite dishes, wine and drinks, celebrations, and any allergies or dietary needs. Every preference is optional and you can change or clear it at any time in the member portal under Member Profile.
- Your signed agreements and records of the terms you accepted.
Information we do not collect
The app has no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics. We do not collect your location, contacts or photos. Face ID or Touch ID, if you turn it on, works entirely on your phone; we never receive your face or fingerprint data. The camera is used only if you choose to scan a card, and the image is not sent to us.
How we use it
- To run your membership: show your meal credit, visits, statements and receipts, take reservations and answer your messages.
- To prepare for your visits: your dining preferences, including any allergies or dietary needs, are shared only with our restaurant and concierge staff when they handle your reservations. Please always remind your server of any allergy.
- To bill and collect charges you have authorized, and to keep accurate financial records.
- To keep your account secure.
- To send you sign-in codes and messages about your membership, such as invitations, receipts and reservation updates.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that run the membership for us, under their own security and privacy obligations:
- Microsoft (secure hosting, sign-in, and email and text delivery)
- Stripe (card payments)
- Toast (our restaurant point-of-sale system)
- Hostie, our reservations service, which books your VVIP reservation requests in OpenTable (your name, contact details, reservation details and dining preferences)
- OpenTable (restaurant reservations)
- Apple and Google, only if you add your membership card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a member. After that, we keep financial and tax records for as long as the law requires and delete or anonymize the rest.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your details in the app under Profile. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or to close your account and have your personal information deleted, open Profile → Help and choose Close my account or Something else, or call the membership concierge at (929) 552-5261. We will confirm your request and respond within 30 days. Records we must keep by law are retained only for that purpose.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and stored in secured systems with restricted staff access. Sign-in requires a one-time code in addition to your password.
Children
The membership and the app are not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell members about significant changes.
